Packers nice win

Post by lights1961 on Tue Sep 09, 2008 10:26 am

Packers great win against the HATED Vikings... maybe this is Rogers breakout year. Its only one game, but he has started out in high fashion and I assume has won over many critics at least for week one, no interceptions a huge plus.

I will say again GO PACK GO.

Rogers looked VERY good. He is following a legend, one of the best to play the game, and he did it with poise.

Good jon Aaron Rogers!

being a HUGE packer fan I was in shock at how well the TEAM came together even with all the mistakes being made. They will neve say BRETT who...but the win sure silenced a lot of critics against Rogers. ESPN did a crap job of their production the announcers were so wanting Rogers to fail.

That really bugs me when people do that...especially supposedly "unbiased" announcers.

Rogers has always looked good when he has had to come into a game. He just showed that last night he can do it a whole game not just in spot duty.

Rogers is good. Kinda reminds me of when Staubach retired and Danny White came on for the Cowboys. People were saying "He'll never be as good as Staubach". They were SORTA right, but White led them to 2 NFC championships and in the '80 season, scored more points than they ever had in a season.
I guess what I'm saying is, Favre's shadow will be lifted.

I am just glad the Jets and Packers dont play this year. I was thinking last night with the AFC in flux and the NFC if something happens to the Cowboys... how ironic if the Jets and the PAckers met in the Superbowl... now the odds have got to be 1 in 10 million... but wow i would almost take that bet...

Ah, I will never forget the Skins CRUSHING Danny White in the NFC Championship Game at RFK Stadium. He didn't know where he was after Dexter Manley hit him.

Well there was the hit on Theismann by LT...worst thing I have ever seen in a football game.

Sorry I didn't watch it. Don't have the itch to watch the Packers this year. Management has alot to do with it.

once a packer always a packer. I was never a BRETT only FAN... I have been through a lot of worse management decisions over the years since i remember watching them in the early 70s... Lynn Dicky, John Hadle. Tony Manderich the biggest bust of all time...
You will be pleasnently surprised...
